Review on Softcover Sketchbook Heavyweight White Sheets by Jackie Archuleta

I want to say I hated this book straight away. The problem is that the description says it washes well with watercolors. It's not like this. The paper warps and untangles like crazy, which isn't always a good thing. Here's the thing, it's more like hot-pressed watercolor paper than cold-pressed. If they said it in the description I would understand why I was having such a hard time with it. Okay, I won't use this for watercolor, I have better albums for that. BUT I have to say this is an excellent book for graphite, ink and gouache. The texture and thickness of the paper is ideal for this purpose. My watercolor pencils also did well in the samples, although I haven't tried to draw completely with them yet. This is going to be my favorite book for working with graphite, ink and gouache.
