I've been using it long enough to benefit from it. As with many solder removers I've seen, both big brands and cheap, the suction tube is too wide for the metal piston. That means the suction power is lower than it could be. There are some workarounds for this, using tape and silicon grease. Larger jobs require a larger puller but cannot be armed with a single thumb. You need two hands to push the plunger. I have an old Edsin Soldapult for big jobs. I bought one of these 30 years ago with a lifetime supply of suction tips. Gold.
