Review on Lihao 36 PCS Bamboo Knitting Needles Set: Explore 18 Sizes from 2.0mm to 10.0mm by Heather Gorman

I was hesitant to purchase this set due to conflicting reviews. My kit is excellent, smooth, like even special yarn that moves freely over needles and double crochet. So far I have used 3 sets of different sizes. Mine appears to have a shellac or lacquer finish and the density or unevenness of the application may explain some of the issues some buyers have experienced. So I'm wondering if everyone has a finish or if there is more than one source of needles or perhaps many different people involved in their manufacture. The length is good for small projects but I wouldn't use it for large items. I've been knitting for a long time but I'm not an expert and I thought the stuff I got was great.
