Son #1 has used these a number of times, and he really likes them. In comparison to a couple of others that we have, including a pair of higher end pliers, these pull out ahead all the way around. They're well made, and they've proven to be quite durable. He's used these almost daily, even keeping them in his tool bag for work, and they're holding up perfectly. We have a couple of pair of pliers in the tool shed that aren't anywhere near the quality of these, and they cost as much, if not more, than these Gearwrench pliers, so I'd have to say these are a good value for the money. I'll just say it - it's a rare thing for us to give any tool 5 stars. Usually there's always something that could be improved or isn't what it should be, but these far exceed our expectations. So, while it may seem strange that I'm bragging on a pair of pliers, these deserve the praise. All things considered, both quality and cost, I'd certainly recommend these pliers.
