Review on Flanders NaturalAire Standard Filter (Model 84858 012025): High-Efficiency Air Filtration Solution by Brandon Vox

I received 12 of these filters and they are exactly what I wanted. The box came in perfect condition, the filters are not dented. The actual filter size is 19.75 x 19.75 x 0.75 for a nominal listing of 20 x 20 x 1. It fits perfectly on my SEER 16 luggage rack. In fact the actual size 20x20x1 would have to be bent to fit and removed piece by piece will. I checked the ones I took out and they were the same actual size. The filters were even individually wrapped. I unpacked them while storing them in the HVAC closet. I've never had individually wrapped files before. The cardboard frame is actually sturdier than the one I replaced (brand name) and it slid into the device without deforming at all. The filter media and metal mesh are also of a higher quality than what I replaced. The packaging doesn't scream MERV 8, but it's there if you're reading this. The size and direction of the airflow are clearly marked on the filter. This is definitely retail packaging and not commercial packaging and labeling. I suspect this was the reason for some of the negative comments. When the device is running I don't have a whistling noise as other comments have indicated. Will definitely be looking for it again in a few years if I buy again.
