These little magnets are "strong"! I am impressed! When I first got them, like most other types, I thought they would stick and fall off at the slightest movement of what they were holding in place. They fell to the ground and splintered, rendering them useless for anything but throwing away. But these little guys surprised me! My first impression was when I attached one to the fridge! HE RAISED OUT OF MY HANDS AND "JUMPED" ONTO THE FRIDGE! The paper I was holding was now "safe" in place! I moved the paper and the magnets didn't fall, so I helped one of them fall off. It took some work but I finally got one to put down. It fell to the floor and lay there, completely undamaged, waiting for me to pick it up and put it in its place on the fridge. this! (and MANY more were left for other uses!) I think they would be ideal for use on a deck with a metallic background behind. I guarantee that once they're in place, they'll hold their position, even if they're on the map in a mobile vehicle hopping the streets! THESE ARE POWERFUL MAGNETS! My only regret is that "5 stars" is all I can give these guys. (and if I didn't like them, I'd tell you right away - I'm very direct when I see a scam, but they're cool!)
