Ideal for left-handers and people with grip problems!

I'm a left hander who has learned to live in a right handed world and opening cans is one of the big problems for left handers due to the direction of the curve and the grip strength required. I struggled to open the cans with my weaker right hand until I slipped on the ice and broke my right wrist, and my right hand started to hurt and my grip got stronger, making it impossible to open the cans. This bottle opener is a lifesaver because you don't have to squeeze it when you twist it. It uses a long handle lever to easily open the can. You simply twist the top handles to adjust the upper, then squeeze the handle without squeezing a hand. Some reviewers complain that it slides off the top, but I don't think they pick up on the lid clips. tight enough before attempting to turn the lid. If I tighten the handles enough, everything always works fine. So when screwing in the handles, be sure to give the dial an extra twist to make sure it's snug and holding the lid securely before attempting to open the jar.
