Description of 🍢 Make Jar and Bottle Opening a Breeze with KUHN RIKON Strain-Free Gripper Opener – 10x5x2.25 inches, White

Designed to eliminate the struggle and strain of opening household jars and bottles. Locks securely onto lids via 3 sets of steel jaws/teeth (attaches by a simple clockwise motion; releases by twisting in the opposite direction) - watch the video to see the opener in action. Adjustable mechanism will remove any lid or cap between 1 and 3.5 inches in diameter and is suitable for a wide variety of jars/caps - threaded, smooth-sided and grooved. Long handle provides extra leverage for stubborn lids, including vacuum seals (opener is ideal for those with limited strength/mobility in their hands and/or wrists). Easy to clean and store: wipe with a damp cloth (not dishwasher safe) and keep within kitchen drawers or utensil pots (can also be hung via a hole within the handle).

Versatile and Efficient Can Opener

This is a very versatile can opener that unlike many others, expands to accommodate large can ends with a twist of a handle. Once installed and tightened, the handle provides excellent leverage to open even the stubborn of cans. I have attempted to manually open a wide mouth jar but have been unsuccessful after many attempts including lowering the lid under hot water and banging it against a granite countertop. After opening the can I had to wait for this handy device to arrive. I tried again…

Do not buy! Broken out of the box

Broken out of the box. That's a great idea, it just doesn't work. The legs holding the jar lid will pop out of alignment when tightened on the lid. This doesn't allow you to tighten the tool enough to hold the lid on the jar, so it just doesn't work. And once one of the legs fails, the tool no longer opens or closes fully. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! This is a great idea with TERRIBLE execution. The picture shows that the legs are not present. The top two slide out together while the bottom one is

The potential of Knuckle Buster

We have had this can opener for several years, so we have a lot of experience with it from small to large cans. Sometimes he opens the lid of a medium-sized jar. The usual result is that it quickly slips off the lid, bruising your fingers. The metal hooks on the bottom of the Rikon just aren't strong enough, or perhaps not positioned correctly, to open most can lids. Often the "wheel" at the top of the unit must be held with a finger and the wheel stressed by trying to unscrew the lid. This is…

Ideal for left-handers and people with grip problems!

I'm a left hander who has learned to live in a right handed world and opening cans is one of the big problems for left handers due to the direction of the curve and the grip strength required. I struggled to open the cans with my weaker right hand until I slipped on the ice and broke my right wrist, and my right hand started to hurt and my grip got stronger, making it impossible to open the cans. This bottle opener is a lifesaver because you don't have to squeeze it when you twist it. It uses a

Update from 05/13/18. If it still worked it would still be 5 stars. Unfortunately, although I rarely use it, it no longer works. The position of the two can end grippers has shifted and the distance is not the same. They no longer fit the jar and can't get it to grab the smaller lids due to uneven spacing. I don't know how/why the shift happened and I can't manually push the arms back out of the opener. So while the initial purchase works fantastic, the short-term outage with limited usage…
