Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Dorman 746 361 Acura Honda Actuator: Reliable and High-Performing Automotive Component for Acura and Honda Models by Ryan Olsen

Good product at a good price

My 2000 Honda Accord has 3 faulty actuators except the drive train. Hugh, that was a relief. I thought long and hard about doing it myself or going to the store. Since one of my mechanic friends told me I needed to replace the actuator, I asked him to check them out. He opened the rear right door and showed me the location of the driveway. Now I'm sure I can too. After purchasing a passenger side actuator I was dying to replace it and show my son. When I removed the inside of the door, I found that this is not easy. Because the passenger side is completely different than the rear right door. Access to the screws is very difficult. It took me over 2 hours to install. Even if I never managed to attach the protective cover inside. I'll leave it as is, hope there are no side effects unless someone wants to open the door with some tools. After installation, the automatic lock works perfectly. I'm really happy with what I've done with it. It really works very well. The size is exactly the same as the original. One thing I noticed is that there are two ports but one of them is not used. Both were used in the original. I think it should be fine. My recommendation: if you are looking to replace it for front doors, please search online for additional instructions before proceeding. The rear doors are very light. Please note that Dorman 746-361 is for the passenger side. Make sure you buy the right one. On the driver's side and rear right are two other models 746-362 and 746-363. But I couldn't find the rear left drive.
