Far from appropriate. Look at yours first to compare shapes and frames.

Not good. Had to disassemble the car only to find it wasn't. I had to walk and buy locally twice the price. I double checked the information before ordering here but it just didn't work. I had a shop ask me for one of my VIN numbers, so maybe there were some weird decisions. I have a 2004 CR-V LX with no remote. Well, it's not difficult to replace, although it looks difficult. Look at the pipe for help.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Replaced a year ago, no problems

REAR RIGHT drivetrain replaced on a 2005 UK CRV - important as you need a different left hand drivetrain for the Japanese made CRV. year works without problems. It's difficult to replace, mainly due to the fact that there's very little wiggle room, but a home champion can do it. The swap takes about an hour (possibly less if you're more mechanically inclined and have the right tools). I recommend watching a YouTube video to see how it's done. It's been almost a year since I installed it and I…

So far, so good. Honda door lock actuator replacement.

I installed this actuator in my son's 2005-up CR-V. I had to replace all 5 lock actuators in his CR-V. I put this in the rear cargo door. Replacing them isn't the easiest thing, but that's irrelevant to this part. There are many good videos on You-Tube to help you if you have never replaced one of these. The quality, feel and fit of this Dorman branded item were top notch. I was tired of paying at least twice as much for a genuine Honda part so I ordered this for number 5. I wish I had ordered…

Cheap, works well enough for power blocking.

Fits my 2001 Honda Accord LX 4 door. I ordered two for both right hand doors as they are either worn out or broken. Replacing the front was easy after removing the window rail and anti-theft clip. Replacing the rear panel, however, required replacing the old drive's hinges. I couldn't find anywhere where the back part is specifically stated. The hinges are held together by a hollow rod that is clamped at the end. Even though the actuator "snaps open" and closes like an OEM, these actuators have

2005 CRV Rear Sunroof (VIN "S ")

My 2005 CRV SE has just driven 117,000 miles and the front driver's door and tailgate can no longer be locked with the remote. Upon further investigation, I found that the door lock actuators were faulty. You can get them for anywhere from $10 (cheap junk) to $60 (OEM Honda). I chose the middle ground as Dorman has always been a solid aftermarket company. They're a little tricky to install, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you get there. This door opener is for UK made CRVs, you…

Good product at a good price

My 2000 Honda Accord has 3 faulty actuators except the drive train. Hugh, that was a relief. I thought long and hard about doing it myself or going to the store. Since one of my mechanic friends told me I needed to replace the actuator, I asked him to check them out. He opened the rear right door and showed me the location of the driveway. Now I'm sure I can too. After purchasing a passenger side actuator I was dying to replace it and show my son. When I removed the inside of the door, I found…
