For the price this is a nice little lens to experiment with. I used it on my Pentax with an 18-80mm kit lens. The first thing I noticed is that I have a vignette effect at the widest settings, so I have to increase it to around 24mm before it goes away. The second thing I noticed is that you blur a bit around the edges of the image and the image almost looks like it was taken from a video clip. However, if you need a general plan, you can experiment with it. They seem to get the best picture in full light. I didn't notice a big increase in the width of the scene in the image, but it was enough to create top-of-the-line images for websites, wide and short. In any case, this is a very inexpensive lens, so you don't have to sacrifice a lot of money even if the quality is poor.
