Overall seems like a good deal. Good power, very powerful. I had trouble trying to screw the air cleaner into the brass insert in the plastic front crank cap. Yes, apart from this cover, the entire compressor is made of metal. You forgot to cut the 1/4" pipe thread in the brass insert. I took a faucet and did it myself, but when I tried to screw in the air filter, the aluminum nipple in the plastic filter started turning. Instead of a wrench putting on the aluminum, they threw it into the plastic without being able to grab it.
