Review on Ultimate USB Programming Cable for BTECH, BaoFeng, πŸ”Œ Kenwood & AnyTone Radios: BTECH PC03 FTDI Genuine USB Cable by Myron Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with many Baofeng radios. Free chip software. I've also benefited a lot from programming friends/family

Works great. I followed a link from btech's official website (Baofeng's official US distributor) to this Revain page. I've heard that Revain has fake cables that don't work(?) but I've had no problems with this cable. I've used it quite a bit to retune my own Baofeng's and my father's and uncle's Baofeng's radios (so far I've made three BF-F8HP, GT-3TP, UV-82HP and UV-5R). I use the free software Chirp (Google) and RFinder WebSearch ("RFinder Worldwide Repeater Directory Web - Location Search", a subscription service but very cheap) to add repeaters to my radios. My uncle hand programmed his UV-5R but the frequencies were a bit off as he had to program with the minimum frequency step size on his radio so this cable fixed that problem by allowing me to just type the exact frequency into Twitter and upload it to the radio. This cable also served me well when I received mountain repeater codes from my snow chief during the 2017 snowboard training season, allowing me to do FRS 1 (mountain guests), ski patrol (emergencies), and mountain operations (close/open lifts). could steer. ).
