Review on Dog Seat Belt Pet Safety by Candice Lopez

We have 2 old labradors that are no longer active as puppies. We travel a lot and have always let them roam free in the back of the SUV. We saw a video showing what happens to a dog like a projectile when the car suddenly stops. We bought it and did a test run. Our dogs weigh 81 pounds and are non-violent. We accommodated her with her seat belt securely fastened. They both sat down and looked happy. We drove less than 10 feet, the dogs didn't move and the seat belt came undone. Our daughter has small dogs and we will give her the seat belts. You get what you pay for and I would be cautious in recommending these for a small dog rather than a lab sized dog.
