Review on 🚲 Zero Aero Walkable Cleats by SpeedPlay: Enhance Your Cycling Performance by Michael Cleveland

Having used original Speedplay Zero pedals for decades, I have to say that I am disappointed with the quality and performance of these smooth-running cleats. Problems started with installing 4 black mounting screws due to misaligned holes in the stamped bar. The next problem was that the left cleat didn't spin on the pedal, neither for money nor for love! Upon closer inspection, I found that the new (not part of this purchase) plastic part of the speed play pedal was poorly formed and too thick to hold the cleat in place. I used a flat file to remove the excess material and then I was able to fix the tenon. Frustrated with Speedplay, they have to award the contract to the cheapest bidder.
