Review on 🏠 Wemo Smart Home Automation Stage Scene Controller: Remote Control for Apple HomeKit (WSC010) by Rashan Jimenez

I'm an early user of Belkin devices and currently have about 40 switches and ports. I was very excited to review this remote at CES January 2020 and it was scheduled for release in Summer 2020. After 12 months of waiting I was very happy to finally get a programmable remote control. I think my family is also tired of me talking about it all the time. Put simply, this switch should not have been let go. I don't know if it's due to the Bluetooth technology or something else. I tried everything to get this switch to work the whole time as I was really motivated. After 6 hours of tweaking everything (e.g. new 2032, different locations, a few restores, wifi reset and so on) I calmly put the Stage back in the box and will be returning it today. The scene worked within a few minutes, but periodically stopped working. A green light came on to indicate the scene was broadcast, but nothing. The same HomeKit automation with the iPhone worked fine, only the Stage was not recognized. We strongly recommend not to buy this product to avoid wasting your time and disappointment.
