Not ready for prime time yet

Maybe they're better if they have a thread, but the bluetooth remote is pretty much useless, as is any switch that needs to be reliable. Also, it drains the batteries very quickly. I can't recommend it at the moment.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not worth the price... disappointing.

I loved the HomeKit-compatible remote, but it's extremely unreliable. Often the buttons don't trigger scenes, but sometimes they do. There are also occasional delays. Also, the magnets are weak, so the remote control can easily be knocked off the shelf from the wall. Not worth the price of $50 + tax

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Big promises, poor execution

I don't need customer service so please don't offer Wemo. I need an update to support threads. Bluetooth is slow and unreliable, making this product almost completely useless. Wemo should have waited until thread support was ready to release this. I recommend that nobody buys this until it has been updated to enable thread radio. It's too slow, unreliable and frustrating for Bluetooth only, like all Bluetooth accessories.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Finished thread - wrong

The product has no thread support yet. In practice, this means it uses Bluetooth to power your home hub, which then plays scenes, and is therefore slow at best and often just plain unreliable. Also, the battery seems to drain very quickly for a device I no longer use. I bought two of these and it was a big mistake. I'll update this review when they add threading support, but for now it seems like a decoy and a parody.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Weight

STOP SALE IMMEDIATELY

Yes I read all the reviews but I never thought it could be that bad. It's actually worse. This product should be promoted with a quadruple click because that's what it takes to trigger a scene if it works at all. How this was tested and released to the public is very puzzling, at no less than $50 apiece. I wouldn't take another one even if I got $50. Sale of this product to the public should be immediately halted and removed from shelves until Belkin/Wemo has sorted it out. Stay away! Toโ€ฆ

  • Good product for the price

Very unreliable, only produces button presses every now and then

I bought this to replace a traditional bedroom light switch with sockets for the house but with an old school light switch that only has 2 has wires. no common. Button 1 should turn on the Home Kit output and button 3 should turn it off. Sometimes the keys actually do it. Sometimes when the buttons are pressed, the green light will come on. In most cases, none of these things happen. Good WiFi coverage and just a few steps away from HomePod mini. I will give a few more days, but most likely Iโ€ฆ

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Some minor things

Finally an HK compatible remote control.

I just received the new Wemo Stage Controller. It was easy to add to HomeKit, but difficult to actually send commands. At first I didn't understand what the problem was. I actually factory reset it and added it a few times before it started working. But now you can control any HomeKit device, including Philips Hue bulbs. Just install it where your light switch is. You will love the fact that you can set it up with a group of other Decora units and they combine perfectly with each other. Unlikeโ€ฆ

What a disappointment after 1 year of waiting Level

I'm an early user of Belkin devices and currently have about 40 switches and ports. I was very excited to review this remote at CES January 2020 and it was scheduled for release in Summer 2020. After 12 months of waiting I was very happy to finally get a programmable remote control. I think my family is also tired of me talking about it all the time. Put simply, this switch should not have been let go. I don't know if it's due to the Bluetooth technology or something else. I tried everything to

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
