Review on 📷 FLIR ONE Pro iOS Thermal Imaging Camera - Camera Only by Ryan Nguyen

I bought this detachable camera for my android phone so I can measure the temperature of different things, I really didn't have a project for it I got this with to to help, but now that I have it I've been looking through various things around my house and found a couple of unexpected problems that I can now solve. See for example the attached picture, there is a heater register under the sink on the baseboard, but it is very clear from the picture that the hot air is escaping elsewhere around the sink and heating the surrounding cabinetry and sink. So the register is probably not connected very well and now I need to figure out where the air leak is coming from. Seeing heat sources and heat differences in infrared is really cool and suddenly I need to fix something! Not that I'm looking for anything to do. Setting up the camera on Android (Samsung Note 8) was very easy. Download the free FLIR app from Google Play and connect your camera. The camera has its own battery, so you should probably charge it first. Mine came already loaded. The USB-C connector fits well with a Samsung case on the phone (I tested it with an Alcantara cover and a flip cover), although there is a screw that can be adjusted to insert or remove the USB connector . Camera for a better/firm fit on your phone when you have a thicker phone case. Since the camera is USB-C, you can also connect it to your phone any way you like, making it easy to see across your phone's screen what the camera is pointing at. I think you could hook it up the other way around and take an IR selfie, but that would be weird. The camera required a firmware update the first time it was connected, but this was done very quickly and without any problems. Finally the camera includes a small hard case that fits snugly around the camera and a cable which is a very good addition to protect this camera as it is quite small and the USB connector sticks out and can be easily damaged if you don't watch after . Overall I'm very happy with it and can't wait to check the hot spots on my vehicles and check the tires for even heating.
