My first time with k&n cai. I've always used a ghost but they don't make it for the 08 g6 gt convertible. Although it was supposed to be specific to my car, my engine mount prevented the heat shield from installing. Called Cs and they said they had never heard of it not being suitable. The son (mechanic) sent them pictures as requested. No Answer. It is therefore installed without a strainer to allow hot air to be drawn in. Abandon the purpose "cold air intake". I noticed more horsepower, now I can drive without thinking because I'm not sure if I can do it. The same as my 06 g6 gtp? no The fuel consumption is the same.
