Perfect fit for 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0L Vortec and starts much faster than the original. Make sure the starter connector wires do not touch or touch the heat shield after installing the new starter. Reinstall the heat shield as the solenoid will not last long if exposed to heat. You will need 13mm and 8mm sockets to remove the starter from the engine and the connector wires on the starter solenoid.
