Great product. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, flawlessly. I needed something to stream audio from the ROKU 2 (which only has HDMI as the audio source) to two different receivers. I connected one via an optical port and the other via RCA ports; The HDMI cable just goes through, but it doesn't degrade the signal at all. I think all the negative reviews must be from this product's competitors that cost at least $12 more. Or maybe they just didn't have the intelligence to connect it properly (the HDMI output goes to the TV). I decided to give it a try and I'm very happy about it!
