Let me start by saying that this product works as advertised and does its job very well. Although there is a caveat. We bought this for the front door of our bakery so we'll know if a customer walks in when we're in the back. Due to the division of the rental area, the door sensors are only 1-2 walls between the plug-ins, but significantly less than the maximum distance given in the description. The bottom line is that the bell rings randomly without opening the door and triggering the sensors. This happens almost every day, but not always at the same time or with a specific frequency. Some days we might hear it once, some days it's constant throughout the day. This isn't a big problem as it works every time the door is opened. However, it's a little annoying when it happens at night when we're closed and preparing to open. When it fires on its own, sometimes it only rings twice, sometimes it rings more. I think the max he did was 6-10 times in a row. That minor issue aside, it's well worth the money and far more valuable than some of the other devices I've reviewed.
