Battery life not as expected. Lasted a month as a customer doorbell. My understanding is that this requires a special battery that is not listed on the Amazon page. EDIT: After finally deciding to get a new battery, it turns out that the main unit has blown. I opened it up to see if I could find the problem and the circuit board smelled like electrical fire. I need to order another doorbell, this time I will try another company.

I bought this for my work because I was tired of being afraid of cheese doodles. Unfortunately I didn't read the whole description and I work with a bunch of young snappers (19-20 years old, I'm a grandmother). Over 60 tones. Over 60. Everything from Chicken to Happy Birthday. Will I hear Fur Elise? Dogs bark? horn uh? I do not know? Because these kids are out of control! What I did? Excellent price. Ease of installation.

I was immediately unimpressed when I plugged it in and found the beep lasted about 7 seconds. I bought it to install in the back room of my shop so I can hear the front door. All I need is something that makes a simple beep. There are about 50 songs built into this thing, including every typical song you might find on a piano keyboard in the early 2000s. Literally not a single call or return call. Serious? The processing quality of the sensors is dog. Buy something else, I'll be back.

Although it works when the door to the shop is opened, the bell only works with 2 different tones, either a police siren or a Christmas chime too long! Always drives me insane. Not sure if it's defective or some of us can't figure out what's wrong with the dam! It works as intended BUT it would be nice to be able to convert the bell to a regular buzzer that lasts a second or two while people get on and off. PLEASE for gods sake if anyone knows how to reset it or is able to change the sounds so…

So this product worked great for a few days! Lots of ringing options. Very easy to adjust and change the volume. But then he started to fail! He called randomly and made us believe someone entered our home at 6am! Then he began to dine several times, as if someone had repeatedly opened and closed the door. I'm also pretty sure it was somehow connected to my neighbor's garage and their garage door was opening and closing, and I believe the random ringing was due to it being on the same frequency

Let me start by saying that this product works as advertised and does its job very well. Although there is a caveat. We bought this for the front door of our bakery so we'll know if a customer walks in when we're in the back. Due to the division of the rental area, the door sensors are only 1-2 walls between the plug-ins, but significantly less than the maximum distance given in the description. The bottom line is that the bell rings randomly without opening the door and triggering the sensors.
