I knew I had to buy another cable to connect to my Lenovo laptop, but the confusion started when I called Acer for information. (By the way, I was never able to contact Revain's supposed tech support team and the seller didn't reply, just said to go back). As other reviewers have pointed out, Acer doesn't seem to realize it's a touchscreen monitor. In fact, they refuse to believe it. But it is, and with a DVI-D to HDMI cable along with USB A (standard) to USB C, the touchscreen works. It is noteworthy that not a single cable came with the monitor. Once I have the touchscreen everything is fine. I like that it doesn't show fingerprints, it's very stable and for my needs (working with Microsoft Office and a lot of photo editing) it's a good addition to my workplace, thanks to the large screen it's much easier on my eyes. Acer needs to work together, and if Revain wants to promote free product support, it needs to be available and found. Living in a rural area, I've spent too much time on the phone and on the internet trying to solve this problem. I hope these comments help someone else avoid the hassle.
