I have two Shark ION R85 vacuums and they work great. A few tips: 1. Don't break off the brushes completely. Instead, press down on the brush until it clicks into place and stops turning. I don't know, maybe it's just my model, but otherwise the brushes don't rotate.2. Use a lubricating spray to get rid of the squeak (squeak)3. Brushes can make individual strands look crazy. You can put it in a glass of hot water to change its shape. However, I didn't bother and saw no reduction in cleaning efficiency. These brushes have allowed my vacuums to pick up a lot more hair and dirt. I have 3 dogs and a cat so there are plenty of both. My vacuum cleaners work once a day and my house is cleaner after installing these brushes on my vacuum cleaners.
