I ordered it because I got into night vision while hunting and bought an ATN scope. I didn't expect them to perform as well as a scope and far from it. There is no way to dim the screen. If you use them, you can also use the screen as a flashlight because it's so bright. It illuminates objects more than 15 feet behind the screen and illuminates your face when in use. It is impossible to remain "invisible" when using these.2. Key clicks are so loud that you can't make adjustments in the field unless you can hear them over 100 feet away.3. The resolution is not very good. It's good, but it's not really something where you can see a lot of detail. If you need something good to see what's in the backyard or to play with, that would be great, but don't think you'll use it in the field and be happy.
