I love the banana plugs with extra connection and silicone coating, but I don't like the price -made ones. So I ordered these ends and BNTECHGO 18 gauge silicone wire and made my own for over half the cost of pre-made ones. Even better, I made them for my specific needs and length. In addition to flux and a cheap digital pen soldering iron I bought here at Revain, I use a 60/40 rosin lead soldier. The results were nothing short of amazing the first time. I haven't played with it, I cranked it up to about 600 degrees, in and out. My only regret is that I didn't use 16 gauge wire, but I figured it would be problematic due to the thickness, although 16 gauge wire would be perfect. 18 gauge works, but I ended up having to use two layers of shrink to get it looking right.
