I can't treat them that well because the sound is on their cheeks. I replaced a few under $100 JBL bricks with these and ended up using more bricks. On the plus side, they have good bass response. On the other hand is everything else in terms of sound. The sound is tight, compressed and closed. When you hear music or dialogue from above, it will sound like you're listening in a wooden box. Adjusting the bass control can make them sound good, but they will never sound good and you have to keep adjusting. They won't even please bass players as they don't produce a deep rumble. It's just a muted dirty bass that can be useful for gaming audio (anyone use speakers for gaming?). Unless you care about audio everything else about them is great, the looks and quality of the product were all great. . I really wanted to like them, but I can't justify bad sounding speakers. I returned them and bought a pair of $150 earthifiers that sound much better. Yes, if your buying criterion isn't "must look cool, the ability to reproduce a nice sound isn't necessary", that's a rather difficult passage. On a scale of 1 to 10, that's quite a haul. i won't lie
