spend another $20 and get klipsch pro media 2.1 NOMMO is bullshit

this thing is total bullshit. I am so embarrassed that I bought this as a Christmas present. I don't know who they paid to be Amazon's number one choice. The sound quality isn't great, the biggest problem is that you can't hear it on almost any other sound. I verified it hit 82dB playing music from YouTube at full power. When I measured that, my meter said it was the noise of a quiet office. The Klipsch Pro I have on my computer sounds light years better than this Nommo. 80dB at about 10%…

Much better than I imagined.

Thought I'd play with these because some reviews say they're quiet or have poor sound quality but they're crazy, they're the best speakers I've ever had. Keep in mind that this is just a set of speakers, no subs. But the bass is really good. The ground doesn't shake, but you can feel it. For those who say the Nommos is quiet, just beware the subwoofers blaring in your car. I have a slight hearing loss from work and never turn the volume up past 50%. I can get them to play in my room while I…

It's good, but not great

Serves the purpose well enough for the sound quality. I was looking for a good RGB speaker and decided on this one. I would say the color is nice but I wish it would have lit up more of my desk space, the bulbs are under the bottom edge of the base and this limits the area the light shines through. Brightness is ok, just needs to cover a large area. The actual size of these speakers is also a bit big, I have a decent desk - about a 64", a 32" and a 27" monitor, so the speakers will fit, but I…

HOMMO money left :(

Do you want a beautiful speaker that will be the envy of your friends? Say HOMMO! Buy this speaker. It is so beautiful that even unicorns can be seen on the speakers- LED are envious. You can get better options. Honestly I'm a Razer fan and had some extra cash. If you're serious about the sound quality, do more research. Also, this one doesn't have separate bass... just 2 speakers EDIT 02/12/18 A: The speakers are working fine so far. I know someone has complained that RGB isn't as or as…

Just wow! the best of computer speakers

I did a lot of research on some speakers that would work with my gaming computer. I would buy this again and again. I mean the bright lights and light settings are amazing. Comes with my "non-Razer" keyboard, love getting a Razer mouse that syncs with these speakers...so many color options for these speakers! Now for the sound. just great, everything clear and crisp. Before I downloaded the setup software, I was skeptical at first. Once I downloaded the software and saw the sound and color…

REALLY heavy bass even with the bass cranked all the way up

There's so much bass that it's difficult to hear quiet voices from people or movies even with the bass cranked all the way up. This is annoying when you want to hear a clear voice or purely musical situations, but it doesn't bother my personal high fault tolerance of the product. What is a deal breaker is that the device turns itself off. Changing power settings, resetting to default settings and updating do not work. I have two Razer Raptor, Naga, Huntsman, Orbweaver and this Nommo (all…

Thrash sounds for audio and video accessories

I can't treat them that well because the sound is on their cheeks. I replaced a few under $100 JBL bricks with these and ended up using more bricks. On the plus side, they have good bass response. On the other hand is everything else in terms of sound. The sound is tight, compressed and closed. When you hear music or dialogue from above, it will sound like you're listening in a wooden box. Adjusting the bass control can make them sound good, but they will never sound good and you have to keep…

Excellent 2.0 speakers they even have bass

The first thing I heard after hooking up these new speakers caught my eye. I switched from a $30 or $40 Logitech 2.1 setup which was fine but never really impressed me, it was just a first step up from what was built into my monitor. I thought that by switching from them to Nommo I would improve the sound quality but lose the bass of the subwoofer in the Logitech set, but that wasn't the case at all. Wonder if it was a Logitech mistake or a slick Razer design, the Nommos without a subwoofer…
