Review on Razer Nommo Chroma Rear Facing Automatic by Sandhya Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent 2.0 speakers they even have bass

The first thing I heard after hooking up these new speakers caught my eye. I switched from a $30 or $40 Logitech 2.1 setup which was fine but never really impressed me, it was just a first step up from what was built into my monitor. I thought that by switching from them to Nommo I would improve the sound quality but lose the bass of the subwoofer in the Logitech set, but that wasn't the case at all. Wonder if it was a Logitech mistake or a slick Razer design, the Nommos without a subwoofer actually has more bass! My bass control is only around 50% and that's enough for me. People who really like the feeling of pounding in their chest might still need a subwoofer, but for everyone else it's just great. Off position is good. As I noted, the bass control is also very good and midday or around 50% sounded best to me. never use it. The headphone pass comes in handy too, so you probably won't need to change any of the volume settings on your computer. I like the rather understated aesthetics, simple shapes and all black. quite large. This undoubtedly delivers impressive bass performance, but it also makes my desk feel a bit cramped. insignificant, but the presence of all connectors on the back panel makes it difficult to connect or disconnect headphones.
