Our mastiff is 175 pounds so getting a strong leash is non negotiable, and this leash works well. We have tried others from Revain and from pet stores but none last for very long, and the leashes that extend to 17 feet are the biggest waste of money - guaranteed to be broken within a week or two. Honestly, not easy to find something strong enough for our pup but this leash works! It is super strong, and so far so good after one month. The reason for 4 stars is that the metal leash clip is already proving hard to open which is odd given it appears to be rusting and our pup doesn’t go in the water with the leash on. Assume that piece is easy to replace, and we are happy with the leash itself. Woof woof!
