Loose fit, tight in filter housing

Well a nice strong tool. But when I used it, the fit wasn't very good. The wrench was slightly larger than the filter housing I was trying to remove. I was able to remove the filter but the tool got stuck and I had to pull it out of the filter housing. The same applies when installing the filter back. The bottom line is that the key needs to be a bit firmer with less play to work well. Maybe the one I got is defective. So back.
