This stand can barely support the weight of my iPad Pro 12.9”. I had a similar one and when I turned the lock to hold my iPad in place it broke the locking mechanism. I bought it as a spare for watching movies in bed but the locking mechanism is the same and as the weight doesn't support the weight very well the screen tilts towards the floor instead of straight forward. The only solution is another stand (this is my third attempt) or tape and a zip tie to help me win. I would like a better "default" solution.
