Inspect each container carefully and smell when you pull off foil. It was really hard to tell at first and had i been in a hurry i might have missed it. There were 2 individual containers damaged within the box no evidence on outside of box and barely on the sides of containers.also with foul odor but must have been on the shelf long enough that it dried, and maggot evidence present none live. . it was probably damaged when shelfing and then shipped much later so it was hard to tell at first until i saw the dried spoilage on the inside of the box. yuck. but stuff happens. otherwise, my very loved elderly blind finicky large Pomeranian loves it. It is a lifesaver. and it doesn't constipate him. so still have to give a 5 on this product.
