Worked fine for a few months - then it started freezing

As reported by several others here and elsewhere - the device worked fine (great actually) for a few months and then started freezing. All LEDs are lit - reboot and everything is ok. He does this once or twice a day, sometimes more often. If I'm going away for a few days then it's safely locked when I come back. Updated to the latest firmware 2.40 - did not help.
