I just LOVE this rolling pin! I've only had it a few days but I've used it 2 times to roll out 1/4" sugar cookie dough and it will definitely speed up my cook time. In the past I've used 2 1/4 wooden dowels on each side of the dough to achieve the same thickness. While this process worked, it was time consuming and messy as the dowels tended to move. Using this rolling pin is effortless. Should have bought this long ago. The rolling pin feels solid and good processed on but is fairly easy to clean.I wouldn't recommend submerging in water as I'm not sure if the inside is hollow.I just wipe it down with soap and water.The silicone mat that comes with it is also very comfortable and easy to clean.When you place it on a countertop, it doesn't move at all and locks securely into place.
