Review on πŸ”§ TOMMARS 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 Inch Drive Stubby Ratchet Set with Mini Ratchet, Quick-Release Head, and 72-Tooth – 3-Piece by Erik Haynes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good reliable set of short ratchets.

The chrome finish on my ratchets and sockets scares me a bit. What fascinates me the most is the shiny chrome look you see on classic car bumpers; smooth as glass. Well, it's not what we have here, but they're not meant for a car show. I mention this because when I saw the pictures I was concerned about the overall chrome finish. Don't worry, they are even better than in the photos. I would give them 7 out of 10 points. What I give 10 out of 10 is the functionality and how solid they are built. In the end, that's what really counts. The 72 tooth ratchet is exactly what the doctor ordered for a ratchet. We often use them in tight spaces and don't have to swing too far to get the job done, which the 72-tooth mechanism achieves; that's right. The sheer weight of this set will amaze you the moment you pick up the box. They come in a thick foam box with a clear plastic lid. If you have enough space in your drawers you can keep them in a box, but I would just as easily put them in a trough with the other rattles. They are unmistakably recognizable and stand out because of their size. So finally. They're strong, durable, with a smooth ratchet action, and the flip-up lever on the back is easy to operate to switch between tightening or loosening the bolt you're working with.
