Description of 🔧 TOMMARS 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 Inch Drive Stubby Ratchet Set with Mini Ratchet, Quick-Release Head, and 72-Tooth – 3-Piece

[SPECIFITIONS] 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive ratchet, the length is 3.54", 4.13", 5.31" respectively. The three sizes work together, small and light, saving more space for the current compact engine, and it can be easily operated even with large hands. Our mini ratchets exceed the ANSI standard. [HIGH-QUALITY MATERIAL] The stubby ratchet set is of premium chrome vanadium steel structure. Fully polished chrome-plated surface, stylish thread design, corrosion-resistant, easy to wipe, and non-slip. Our goal is to meet or exceed tool standards. [PROFESSIONAL DESIGN] The ratchet head reversible 72-tooth gear only needs a 5-degree swing arc to operate. The quick-release reversible head design is used to replace the socket by touching the middle part, and the driving direction can be changed by flipping the biased drive switch. [ADVANTAGES] Ratchet wrench quick release head can lock the socket firmly and will not accidentally fall off. The offset switch makes the gear perfectly engage, preventing slipping and free-wheeling. [APPLICABLE SCENARIOS] 1/4" drive ratchet is used for disassembling small screws such as furniture and household appliances, 3/8" drive is used for auto repair, motorcycles, and electric vehicles, and 1/2" drive is used for automobiles and motorcycles.

Surprisingly good quality

I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened and studied these short keys. Generally an excellent"feeling". I even disassembled them to determine the strength of the structure - solid. However, durability is determined over time, but everything indicates that they will stand the test of time.

Handy to take with you

If you look at them, you already have a large, complete set of sockets and ratchet. All ratchets have a long handle and will work in most cases, but in some cases there just isn't enough room to reach and maneuver a wrench or ratchet handle. These short, short-handled ratchets can often really speed things up because they can get into hard-to-reach places. The ratchet is smooth and the tooth pitch is small enough that you don't need a large range of rotation to use it effectively. They are very

Handy if you need them

I have several full size ratchets but I've had many occasions where I couldn't use them or at least had to limit the angle of rotation due to bottlenecks. I got this set for situations like this. All in all this is a good set. They feel solid in hand. Switches work well in reverse. They are good for tight spaces. I also like that you get 3 main drive sizes. Being short doesn't give you the leverage you would with a tall stem, but that's to be expected. And for the price, I think you get value…

I have several tools but there are always certain tools that I am missing or I could use another option. one of which turns out to be a short rattle! I have a set but they are not as short as these ratchets. What I really like about these ratchets is that they are actually quite short! If you want to get a lot stiffer, consider using a knurled wheel ratchet. The length of each handle is as follows: - 1/4" drive - 3.54" overall length - 3/8" drive - 4.17" overall length, 1/2" drive, 5.35"…

Good quality 72t short ratchets with foam holder

Pretty decent set of short ratchets in a custom foam tool box holder. The ride is fairly smooth, and the 72-tooth gears help reduce the turning radius, which helps in tight spaces, which you're likely to encounter when using short ratchets. The reverse lever moves easily and the overall build quality is good, with a knurled bottom and center for a better grip. It's fun to use the 1/2 drive with such a short lever, but it's good to start tightening or loosening nuts and bolts after they've…

Good reliable set of short ratchets.

The chrome finish on my ratchets and sockets scares me a bit. What fascinates me the most is the shiny chrome look you see on classic car bumpers; smooth as glass. Well, it's not what we have here, but they're not meant for a car show. I mention this because when I saw the pictures I was concerned about the overall chrome finish. Don't worry, they are even better than in the photos. I would give them 7 out of 10 points. What I give 10 out of 10 is the functionality and how solid they are built.

Pros
  • Socket wrench
Cons
  • Expensive

I do all domestic maintenance on our appliances and outdoor power equipment. There have been a few instances recently where these short ratchets have come in handy. For example, I had to remove three carburetors on our outboard motor to clean them. Due to space limitations, I wasn't able to turn the full size ratchet 1/4 inch to loosen any of the bolts. I had to resort to a small open-end wrench. It was tedious and time consuming because the threads were fine and I had to loosen the screw a…
