This device is for use of a breaker or ratchet to provide additional leverage on a wrench or pliers. The problem I have found is that the square forged cutouts have rounded corners which fit my SK Wayne, Maatco and (old) Craftsman USA ratchets and breakers maybe 50% of the time. I'd just prefer an old-fashioned whistle-blower to sifting through the tools looking for the right one. Also, the 1 inch diameter steel pipe end is not suitable for a medium sized pipe wrench handle. I could try filing the cut squares more square on the corners, but the product should work without my attempts at modification. If your instruments are not American quality, they may be suitable. It's solid steel, so what? Not very good value for money. I cannot recommend this product.
