Here's how it came out of the box! We also broke off parts of the base. The large holes in the base are not there to hold the plastic stick. There are a couple of pieces where some of the smaller plastic plants used to be but we tore them off they weren't in the packaging which tells me this was refused and sent back earlier. They may not even have inspected the item before selling it again! Extremely cheaply made and I wouldn't trust it in an aquarium with my small fish!
