Review on πŸŒ€ Whirlpool 4396037RP Vent Periscope - Optimal 0-to-18 Inch Extension for Improved Airflow by Dale Emmel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works, but needs to be glued!

So, I went to the dryer and found the necessary settings. Everything plugged in, checked, and I was able to leave the dryer vent unplugged. Air blew from both sides like a fan. So the dryer came out of the wall, I climbed behind it and pulled it out again. Cut it to the desired length with scissors, then tape off with heat-resistant tape and test again. Here, too, the air came out quite well. Not as bad as the original, but still comes out. So I took it out again, removed the tape and used some metal spatula (not Bondo but JB Epoxy for welding). let it freeze Plugged it back in, picked it up, adjusted my dryer's position an inch because it was misaligned, and turned it on. I didn't feel any air after running the dryer at high speed for a while, I pulled out a handy dandy thermal imager. and took care of him. An exhaust pipe appeared, but you couldn't see where the hot air was heating everything as it blew out of the pipe like Barry Sanders did. Although I recommend it, it requires a little extra work. Especially if the dryer outlet is on the left and the exhaust tract is on the right.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some problems
