Does the job of a complex installation.

Pretty complicated setup. Be careful not to cut! I did and had to use tin tape (fold the sticky sides together so the lint doesn't stick to it). Read and reread the instructions as the two endings are different. Gives me a few extra inches in a very cramped washroom but also limited installation space. Does the job!

My space problem solved!

Great product. Using a traditional flexible dryer with my new deeper dryer didn't give me enough room to open and close the garage door. Very frustrating! This product did its job. I have about 2.5 inches of space. I couldn't find my metal shears so I used a rotary tool and a cutting wheel. Worked great cutting the vent to the right length for my setup. I left an inch of excess material on each end, which was then folded onto the block. I then sealed the ends and any gaps with aluminum tapeโ€ฆ

I am happy to repeat the satisfaction of previous satisfied reviewers

I am pleased to repeat the satisfaction of previous satisfied reviewers. After the product has been cut (easily with metal scissors) and wrapped with tape (silver tape) to prevent air leakage and lint, the product easily fits onto the dryer outlet and onto the wall outlet. I thoroughly cleaned the vent up to the roof and also vacuumed the dryer vent (which I did regularly). I opened the front bottom panel of the dryer to vacuum out any excess lint that had accumulated there. It only took me one

Absolute rubbish. - Parts and Accessories

I bought this to put the dryer closer to the wall, but it's so poorly made it's practically useless. The first problem was that my exhaust is on the floor but near the corner of my laundry room. Because this box is configured, you will need at least 3 inches of clearance from a vertical wall. I basically had to cut the end off and then rivet and glue it together. After that it was almost impossible to install. With some ingenuity and homemade tools to maneuver behind my dryer, I was finallyโ€ฆ

Gave us more space in front of our dryer

They're fairly thin metal but it doesn't need to be very strong and you'll probably want to trim off the excess with metal snips. But the design could be a little better. The pleats aren't as even as I expected, and the parts that connect to the other vent pipe and dryer aren't as heavily puckered as I'd like. But it works, and it's not a deal breaker. You want aluminum metal tape to be used to vent the dryer or you'll have air leaks. This is not intended. It simply closes all the seams andโ€ฆ

  • Not sure

Check your dryer manual to find out why the flow sensor light stays on. be positioned in the correct position without too much additional tubing. We gave the lint filter a thorough cleaning and even vacuumed the slot deep, but that didn't solve the problem until we realized the hose was installed in the wrong place 10 years ago. !When we removed the old hose it was like pulling out a cat sized ball of lint! Luckily we didn't start a fire! This new exhaust pipe allows you to cut and angle itโ€ฆ

Works, but needs to be glued!

So, I went to the dryer and found the necessary settings. Everything plugged in, checked, and I was able to leave the dryer vent unplugged. Air blew from both sides like a fan. So the dryer came out of the wall, I climbed behind it and pulled it out again. Cut it to the desired length with scissors, then tape off with heat-resistant tape and test again. Here, too, the air came out quite well. Not as bad as the original, but still comes out. So I took it out again, removed the tape and used some

It really works. Try it out before putting the dryer back in

Works great. Don't let the installers tell you it doesn't work. Bought a dryer from Lowe and the installers swore it wouldn't work. Take it out of the box first. Move it up and down, in and out. My vent was on the floor and I had to take it to the dryer, which was on a platform that was 11 inches high and three inches taller. First of all, do not place it at right angles to the ground. Make sure it can turn itself on before the installers arrive. I had to cut the bottom off with metal snips but
