A few months ago I bought a Champs Boxing Reflex Ball from Revain. I was disappointed that the rubber ball was smaller, heavier and harder than I expected. The instructions provided with the box warn the user not to hit the ball too hard or it could hit you in the face. In addition, the rubber cord wears out and tears very quickly with such a heavy ball. If you see the cord starting to fray, stop using it immediately as the cord will most likely snap very soon and could get back into your face or eyes. I suggest you use a softer, lighter tennis ball sized ball like the one I use. for my homemade reflex ball. I've been using my homemade reflex ball in the park for an hour every day for over 2 years. The ball is soft so I can hit it with my hands, elbows, knees, feet or head with full force and it doesn't hurt me at all. The elastic cord is long enough and strong enough to be used for forward, backward and sideways thrusts. I also like to use it like a yo-yo ball to create all sorts of fun, intricate techniques and tricks. I suggest you tie an elastic cord to the back strap of your sports cap rather than use a cumbersome headband. The elastic cord is easily adjusted to any length by simply wrapping the cord and ball around the back of the cap. around my head Also, the mounted ring on the front of the headband clicked against my forehead with every spin of the ball. A really good reflex ball shouldn't hurt your hands if you hit it with full force. It should be soft and about the size of a tennis ball so that any part of the body can easily hit it with full force. The elastic cord should be long enough, strong enough, and flexible enough that you can hit it with your hands, elbows, knees, feet, and head. A really good reflex ball should give you a full body workout with lots of footwork as a cord. and the ball moves up and down 360 degrees around you.
