Generally good. Not as great as many reviews suggest, in my opinion.

Overall this is a good speaker, works as advertised and sounds good. I bought this model over other well known brands because it was specifically designed to fit in a water bottle cage on a bike like the one I use. Another attraction - at least for me - is the TF (Micro-SD) slot/playback function and the wired steering wheel remote control. In TF mode, the device searches for compatible audio files and automatically plays them one by one and then restarts, perfect for my everyday life. The sound quality is good, but not outstanding. The speaker is loud and clear in the mids and highs, but the bass (bass) is really not very noticeable. That came as no surprise, its form factor is relatively small so there's not much SPL, and this device lacks the technical and design pedigree of similar products from JBL, Sonos and others. It's mostly made of plastic and weighs just over a pound. The outer shell is a rubber/plastic cage that sits on the outside (reminds me of a phone case) forming a metal mesh to protect the speaker. Inside there are two circuit boards, a medium-sized battery and two speakers. Photos attached - WARNING, if you decide to open the speaker like I did, there is a thin copper wire - I think a radio antenna - to be aware of. I like the wired remote control more than I thought. Since I mainly use the speaker in TF mode, the remote comes in handy for pausing/playing, volume up/down and skipping to the next track. The only things I'd like to change are making the remote a bit bigger, with buttons further apart (so I don't have to press more than one button while wearing gloves), and illuminating (or illuminating) the icons for night driving ). . The FM radio seemed to work fine when I unpacked and checked, but I don't use it so I can't speak to the antenna or its ability to tune to all the different local stations. I'm not using a Bluetooth/phone connection. Feature as it doesn't fit my routine. One reviewer mentioned that the bottle cage mounting holes could have been a bit deeper (which pushes the speaker up), and I tend to agree. For my setup, the speaker was lower than I wanted. I chose a traditional plastic water bottle cage (which I modified) and the ending position works well. The fact of the matter is that although the speaker and its patented cage looks round, it has a square tube form factor, so it would be nice to be able to connect two elements that were made for each other. In the future I may change the original Blue Celtic cage and update this review. While the speaker is unlikely to get wet during my normal driving, either due to rain or normal driving conditions, I was able to identify the issue. with a small rectangular rubber cover that "covers" the remote control jack and TF card slot. Since I'm using a wired remote, the lid needs to stay open and this area can be exposed to the elements. Overall, this is a good speaker that's great for my cycling routine. At first I questioned the $90 price tag as a bit steep, but given that it has Bluetooth, FM radio, a micro SD slot, a handy (wired) remote control, and a dedicated mounting cage, it seems the price reasonable. I also used this once at work where ambient music was needed and it worked/sounded great allowing it to be used for a lot more than what I do.
