Does the job, no more gas station air pump

It never occurred to me to buy such a product until last winter when my tires were noticeably flat and I was struggling with air at the gas station . I've inflated a lot of bike tires, so I'm no stranger to tire inflation, but at the gas station there wasn't an obvious way to put the nozzle on my valve. Air came in, but most of it didn't get into my tires. It was about 8 degrees outside, I forgot my gloves, and the whole process ended up being a complete and pathetic waste of time (not to mention a few bucks thrown away). My handyman neighbor suggested blowing them up later that week, and that's how I knew these portable things existed. I ordered these right away. yes he is loud yes it is slow But yes, it gets the job done. I set it to the manufacturer's recommended pressure and release it. I even bought a pressure gauge to make sure it was working as expected. It shut off automatically and I measured and my tire was inflated to just the right level. I honestly don't know why you would spend more, I can't imagine what other bells and whistles are needed. I especially like that it's small enough to stow in the trunk for emergencies on the go. I wish it had a carrying case but for the price I'm totally satisfied. Goodbye clumsy gas station pumps!
