Exactly what I was looking for for my 42 inch basement door opening at the bottom of the stairs. I have three garage doors, one of which is always open during the spring, summer and most of the fall. allows any weather (hot, cold, humid, etc.) to enter our basement. At this point we start our dehumidifier. I found that too much moisture was getting into the basement. I've seen those plastic "storage loading docks". doors in many places. I was wondering if small sizes are made and here is a 40" block from ALECO. Since I installed it we can see the difference in the basement. Firstly it's November and our heating has been turned on. As soon as you walk through the strips you will feel the difference in temperature. Should be 6/8 degrees warmer. This is great as I'm sure the warmer basement will become a warmer living space. We are very happy. Easy to install and allows you to place strips much larger than 40 inches maybe up to 46 inches or so. This is a great solution for the basement door.
