Review on Dorman HELP 42408 Headlamp Retaining by Michael Colley

Installed these on my 2006 Jeep TJ - holes didn't match but managed by two to extend/insert thereof. Not the end of the world, just hassle over an item listed as fitting my car. A 5 minute job turned into an hour and a half. The real problem, however, is that the round cosmetic ring (not the area where I extended the slot) began to rust almost immediately. Just two months later I took them off - a rusty mess. I live in Connecticut and I know we had a severe winter, but it was February-April - the extreme part of winter is behind us. Make sure to paint them first when installing them - but why would you want to, they're advertised as corrosion resistant?!? DO NOT BUY - nonsense.
