Loud noise + slow ignition = PAIN!

works of course as described. But the noise this thing makes is actually pretty painful for humans, not just your pets. The high frequency of it harms everyone in the room when used, not to mention how scary it scares my cats. The unfortunate combination of these is that it takes a very long time to make things glow. This means you are forced to listen to this painful frequency for far longer than you would like to light a candle. All in all there are much better electric lighters out there and I would not recommend this one.
