We recently brought this device. I set it up as an access point for my Verizon Fios wireless network to cover an area with poor signal strength. It works the way it should be. Installation is easy. This is a normal router like the others. I used to have Linksys, Dlink, Netgear and other home wireless routers. The function is no more than others. Some configuration screens got stuck during the change, but just restart your computer to get it working. The high gain antenna looks bigger than Linxis and Dlink. I haven't noticed any significant "high gain" compared to my Verizon wireless router. The WiFi port is not working. According to the manufacturer, this is a bug. So it has 4 ports. Actually 3 ports can be used for my wired access point. 10/100M network, no 1G layer router. I think it's like dropping the price. In general, this is a regular router priced at $20.
