I was concerned because I've always felt that newbies should always start with more expensive products to get used to how it 'should' look like. I've used the more expensive ones and it's been a nightmare, nothing even remotely impossible due to even light strokes breaking pencils. My daughters who draw constantly (and are very good at drawing in almost any medium) brought this to my attention because they had the same problem. They were recommended by their art teachers and I wholeheartedly agree that they are really great to work with and they make images just as detailed and vibrant (no matter what shade you use) so it's very easy and enjoyable to work with to work them.
